The Bible is the Word of God. It was inspired by God and is TOTAL TRUTH. It applies to every part of our lives and gives us principles to live by.
We believe in ONE TRUE GOD. God is eternal and alive and desires a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with us. He is One God who exists in three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus is the SON OF GOD. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and performed miracles. He died on a cross for the sins of every person, was buried in a tomb and rose from the dead after three days. He ascended into heaven and will one day return to earth.
God CREATED Adam and Eve as good, but they disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered the world. Sin brought death both PHYSICALLY and SPIRITUALLY.
Sin separates us from God, but by putting our FAITH IN JESUS, we find FORGIVENESS, SALVATION and LIFE.
When we give our lives to JESUS, He makes us HOLY and enables us to live HOLY and good lives as we grow to know Him more and become more like Him.
We believe in the BAPTISM in the HOLY SPIRIT. It is an experience that happens in the life of a Christian and gives us the POWER to share the truth of who Jesus is with others. The evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues – a language we have not learned or known.
We believe that God SUPERNATURALLY heals. We pray for the sick because God still works MIRACLES today.
BAPTISM IN WATER We believe in water baptism by being fully immersed in water, not by the sprinkling of water on your head. In this way we follow Jesus’ example.
COMMUNION We believe that everyone who is a Christian should regularly participate in Communion, or the Lord’s Supper in order to remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross when He died for our sins.
We believe the Church was given a MISSION by Jesus to share the truth of who He is with the world.
We believe that God calls people into the MINISTRY in order to serve the people in the church and prepare them to SERVE God and SERVE others.
We believe that just as JESUS died and came to life. So also those who have put their faith in Christ will come to life and spend ETERNITY in HEAVEN. Those who are still alive at His coming will be taken up to heaven with them. This is the HOPE of all who believe in Jesus.
We believe in the THOUSAND YEAR REIGN of Jesus on earth. After He takes the faithful living and the faithful dead from this world into Heaven, He will later return with them and return to earth to rule as King for a THOUSAND YEARS. Under His rule, there will be true peace.
We believe in the FINAL judgement of those who did not put their faith in Jesus. Those who reject Jesus will be punished for ETERNITY in Hell.
Following the thousand year rule of Jesus on earth, there will be a NEW HEAVENS and a NEW EARTH. Everyone who accepts JESUS will spend the rest of eternity in His presence.
