our Sunday worship service starts promptly at 4:00pm. we suggest getting there just before so you don’t miss anything. however, we realize life is unpredictable…if you are late, don’t sweat it, come on in any way! if you’d like a cup of coffee & a wee chat, or if you’d like to help with our set up (which is always appreciated) you are always welcome to come earlier!
where do my kids go?
kids are dismissed, after our music time, and go to their own kids church. there are kind and safe (all workers have had background checks) kids workers that will carefully mind you children. they enjoy a snack, story, crafts, media, an occasional sweetie and much more! we want your children to enjoy coming to BFC as much as you. if you are new to BFC and would feel comfortable keeping your kids nearby, well behaved children are always welcome to remain in the service. there is also a comfortable space & toys for younger babies & nursing mums.
how do I dress?
wear whatever you feel comfortable in! some people like to dress up a bit, others may be in jeans. we care about you, not too bothered with your clothes.
what happens at a BFC service?
we begin with some contemporary Christian music, a time of prayer, and then a quick coffee & tea break. this is followed by an exciting, clear, and relevant teaching from the Bible. after we close in prayer, you are welcome to stay for a while and enjoy some company & a yummy selection from our dessert table. our full service usually runs 1 to 1 ½ hours total.
do I have to give any money?
it’s all up to you! while we welcome donations, you will never be forced or guilted into giving to BFC. if you consider BFC your ‘home church’, we do encourage you to give in some capacity so we can continue to serve. we make extremely good use of our finances and use them to be a blessing to our church and our community.
what if I have a special need or disability?
the centre we meet at is extremely accessible; automatic doors, wheel chair friendly, etc. we will also do our best to have volunteers available to make your visit as comfortable as possible. call or email ahead if you have any concerns or questions. there is on street parking nearby and a small car park on site.
