Pastor Mike started this message with a story about the Nativity Scene outside a church in Pennsylvania where somebody had stolen the baby Jesus. The newspaper headline read “Missing Jesus”. Pastor Mike went on to remind us of those individuals that God used who actually found Jesus on that day when He was born in Bethlehem. First of all the humble shepherds who listened to the angels message. Then the Magi or wise men who followed the star in the heavens that led them to the Jesus. He highlighted the fact that the priests and Pharisees who knew the word of God should’ve understood the signs but missed them but the humble the Gentiles heard and saw the miracle of the birth. Pastor Mike challenged us to make sure we do not miss Jesus this Christmas with all the busyness it would be so easy to do.
